We started 2026 where we finished up 2025, in Brad and Nyssa’s driveway.
Our New Year’s eve celebrations were quiet and restrained1 with a bottle of non-alcoholic wine (Timbertown), although the neighbourhood was noisy with at least three, probably more, distinct groups of fireworks within earshot; all were below tree-level from our viewpoint so there was a lot of noise but little to see 😞
