Leaving Forbes we continued on the Newell Highway through to Finley Showground for the night and we decided to stay hitched ready to leave as we’ve stayed here before and explored the area, it’s just a lay over and we were on our way again. It was a long day with five and a half hours driving with a couple of stops.
Once we had found a spot to stop a man from the show society came across and said the ground is supposed to be closed and when Dean told him that the Facebook page said it was open for camping until tomorrow he was ok for us to stay. There were lots of trucks parked around further all getting set up for the Finley Annual Show on Saturday.
