In 1998 I was fortunate to win a trip to the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; staying in the newly completed Sheraton KL for 10 days.
We camped at Lake Burrendong in 198x, visiting the nearby town of Mumbil every evening for dinner at the pub.
In 198x we had a family holiday at Bombah Point on the Myall Lakes—this started our love affair with that area 🙂
