In the relatively short time that we have been travelling to date (end 2024), we’ve been astounded and enthralled by the variety, scope and beauty of the paintings adorning the grain silos, water (and other) tanks and pretty much any blank wall throughout our Australian country towns. As a bonus, lots of towns also have sculptures, ranging from the traditional to the quirky; but all a joy to discover and view.
Often there’s one or more placards or storyboards nearby giving background and details of who, what and why also.
